Dublin Christian Mission is a community of people devoted to spreading the love of Christ to everyone we encounter. Although we don’t subscribe to a particular denomination, these verses provide a summary of the things we hold to be true:

  • We believe the most important commandment is to love the Lord your God will your all your heart, soul, and mind. The second most important commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:37-39)

  • We believe that the Scriptures are God-breathed, without error, and still useful and relevant to today. (Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:16-17)

  • We believe in the sinful nature of man and the need for God to redeem the fallen nature. (Romans 3:23, 1 John 1:8-10)

  • We believe in the Trinity — the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 28:19-20)

  • We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and eternal life is given to all those who receive Christ as Savior and Lord. (John 3:16-17, John 14:6)

  • We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit who transforms the sinner. (John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8)

  • We believe that salvation is by faith and grace alone, and cannot be earned through our actions. (Ephesians 2:8-10)
