Dublin Christian Mission

Get Involved

Some of our interns spend a day hiking with local friends.

Intern:

We have a need for people to come and commit to full time service with Dublin Christian Mission. The basic requirements are; be over the age of 18, have an active and committed relationship with Christ and have a willingness to serve in a variety of ways.

"I've been blessed numerously by my time with Dublin Christian Mission! I love the heart of the mission which seeks to genuinely build relationships in the community and love people no matter who they are or where they are at in life. It's exciting to be a part of a place that does the things Jesus challenges us to do." - Kelly

We'd love to hear from you. To get more information or ask any questions please email office@dcmlive.ie.

Teams:

f you’re interested in bringing a group to serve short-term with the Mission, we have a variety of projects available for your team. Typically this trip will involve ministry as well as practical projects for the Mission.

"We enjoyed the opportunity to grow together as a team as we faced the difficulties and rewards of serving in a foreign culture. One of the things that stood out to us was the testimonies of the volunteers. Many of them have once struggled with addiction and homelessness, and now they work for the Mission to love on those who struggle with the same issues. The challenge we face now is to love — to love when it costs us and to love when we struggle to feel loved. To love always. Thank you Dublin Christian Mission for challenging us and helping us put Scripture into practice." - Grace Bible College, MI, USA

Short-Term Visit:

If you're an individual or married couple looking to serve with Dublin Christian Mission for a short period of time, we could use you for ministry and practical projects at the Mission.

"I first got involved with Dublin Christian Mission in August 2014 and I was hooked straight away. I have been blown away by the work. God is at the center and is working to save and transform lives. It is a privilege to be part of the volunteer team and help out in any way I can. The heart of this work is winning souls for Jesus. The people are fed physically so they can be fed spiritually. I am truly blessed each time I visit and humbled to serve the homeless and broken. Matthew 10:42,'And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.'" - Judith

Local volunteers engage in street outreach.

Local Volunteer:

Currently our opportunties include volunteering at The Light House, to help set up and prepare food as well as serve the meals. We are also searching for people who could commit time to helping us start other ministries to meet the local needs of the community.

Working in The Light House as a volunteer is so rewarding! I meet so many different people, young and old, from all different backgrounds and walks of life. I enjoy sitting with them, and listening to their stories is truly a blessing. I love giving my time to be the hands and feet of Jesus to these broken people. - Sue
